With pomegranate blossoms blooming and wormwood fragrance filling the air, the Dragon Boat Festival arrives on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. This time-honored traditional festival carries thousands of years of cultural heritage, embodying patriotism, teamwork and wisdom of nature. It also brings a tender cultural encounter to Helsinki School of Future Engineering. As the first Sino-Finnish cooperative institution among vocational undergraduate universities nationwide, we build bridges through engineering and cultural communication, blending oriental folk customs with Finland’s international education philosophy to embrace a peaceful summer together.

端午的内核，是铭记风骨、聚力前行。世人凭龙舟竞渡追思屈原，整齐划一的划桨、同心共振的鼓点，诠释着同舟共济、携手攻坚的力量；粽叶裹糯米，一绳系千思，藏着代代相传的坚守与温柔。这份团结、坚韧、心怀家国的精神，恰与学院育人初心同频。
The core of the Dragon Boat Festival lies in remembering noble integrity and marching forward unitedly. Dragon boat races are held in memory of Qu Yuan. Synchronized paddling and resonant drumbeats interpret the power of solidarity and joint efforts. Zongzi wrapped in bamboo leaves carry endless tender memories, passing down perseverance for generations. The spirit of unity, resilience and patriotism perfectly aligns with our school’s educational mission.
